  1. Melt the coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and soften for 3 minutes. Add the garlic and spices and stir for additional 2-3 minutes to release the aromatic compounds.
  2. Add the ground beef and saute on medium to low heat until the meat is slightly browned. Take care not to over-brown the meat.
  3. Stir in tomatoes and stock and simmer on low for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the diced potatoes and cook for a further 5-10 minutes until slightly softened before adding the peas for a further 2-3 minutes cook time.
  5. Squeeze in lemon and sprinkle with herbs.
  6. The Keema is ready to eat and can be served alone or wrapped in chick-pea crepes or buckwheat pancakes for a special touch. Enjoy!
